Mew Ichigo

The main character, a girl who is infused with the DNA of a Iriomote Wildcat( Near-extinct Wild cat ). Equipped with her new powers, Ichigo must now become a crime fighter, protecting the world from the Kimera ( Chimera ) Animas but 1^st of all, find her team mates, four other girls who have the DNA of other endangered species. She had to keep her new identity secret while also working part-time in the secret café base.

Aside from the Mew Mews and the main characters.Now she is the leader of the band of girls who's DNA was also merged with other animals called Tokyo Mew Mew.

 

She has a crush on a boy named Masaya Aoyama ( Mark ) and she has a habit of freaking out. When she gets nervous, scared or excited, her cat ears and tail start popping out and if she gets kissed, she becomes a cat and can only turn back into a human if she kisses someone. ( That’s because her cat DNA overtakes her human DNA ). Luckily, Ryou saves her a lot of times. Ichigo is generally a happy, cheery person, who can be ditzy at times. She is a good friend. Ichigo has two friends, Moe Yanagida ( Megan ) and Miwa Honjo ( Mimi ). Ichigo is now part cat. Now she and her friends must save the world from an evil alien ( Who likes her ).

 

 

 

Mew Mint

A somewhat snobby rich girl who is the second member of the team. She was infused with the DNA of a Blue Lorikeet. She has a talent for ballet and idolizes Zakuro. At Café Mew Mew, she slacks off on the job and drinks tea a lot. She also have an “Ethernal Rival” named Saionji Kanna but Mint basically ignore her.

 

 

 

Mew Lettuce

A shy, smart girl who comes from a very positive family & third member of the team. She doesn't believe in fighting, as she rather talk than fight and she doesn’t like doing  dangerous things. She is quiet, shy and unsure of herself. When it comes down to it, however, she will face the toughest challenges to do what's right. Her DNA was infused with the genes of a Finless Porpoise, An embarrassing secret of her's was that she couldn't swim, unless turned into a mermaid by the power of Mew Aqua.  ( Which was pretty embarrassing especially since she was fused with the DNA of an animal from the sea ).

 

Lettuce was a girl who was bossed around by some snobs. She starts to gradually grow a crush on Ryou. She works quite hard at the café and always keeps her spirits up. She is very good friends with Ichigo, as well as the other Mew Mews. When they hire her to work at the cafe, you find that she is very, very clumsy.

 

 

 

Mew Pudding

An energetic Chinese girl who has the DNA of a Golden Lion Tamarin Monkey, and she likes playing, she acts like a monkey. Out of all the Mew Mews, she is the youngest.

 

Pudding is a hyper child that likes to act and put on performances in order to get money for her family after the death of her mother and due to the fact that her father is almost never home. She has to take care of her many siblings by herself. Her DNA was infused with one of a Golden Tamarin Lion Monkey, and her being an acrobat makes sense with the animal she was infused with. She is the youngest of the Mew Mews and soon developes a crush on Taruto, One of the younger aliens who likes to have some "fun" with the Mew Mews. She call him Taru-Taru. She is too dumb to take anything to heart.

 

 

 

Mew Zakuro

A mysterious, beautiful model who has the DNA of a Grey Wolf, and doesn't want to join the Mew Mews at first. After a while, Mint manages to change Zakuro's mind. She learns many languages on her travels and is a couple years older than the other girls. Zakuro is a beautiful model who can seem cruel and cold on the outside, but is really sweet on the inside.

 

She is solitary and "doesn't join groups". To mint she is an idol. Ichigo thinks that she stands out at parties and acts calm and cool in dire situations. To Pudding, she's just normal and doesn't stand out in the crowd.

 

Zakuro wears the color purple, and that is the color of her Mew Mew Fuku. She is fit and pale. She knows how to speak many languages and has traveled to many places.
